Just Married
In this beloved photograph, Mike and I are sitting on the tailgate of the old farm truck we used as our 'get-away' vehicle at our wedding. We drove it from the country church where we were married to Mike's family farm ... all the way into our exciting future!
Fly with Me
Two of my favorite things: an Air Force base and a museum! Mike and I love museums, and an air museum located on a base is the absolute best. Vintage air travel was one of our inspirations for starting Tess - we wanted to capture the exuberance and revolutionary spirit displayed by the NASA and Air Force test pilots.
All Things Bright
I love to create things of beauty all around me...and this includes gardening! I love fresh flowers and our house is always full of them. In the spring and summer I cut them from my garden but, in the winter, some happy daisies from the local grocer's are very welcome too.
Welcome Home
We designed and built our mid-century modern house ourselves, and it represents our personalities perfectly. Mike and I both love to read, and our library fills our living room wall. We often curl up by the fireplace in our sunken living room to share our home comforts with friends and family.
Family Farm
Mike's sunny and peaceful family farm has been in his family for over 100 years- and just like the pecan tree Mike's dad planted there when Mike was born, his roots are deep in the Texas earth. One day we will build a little home, garden and orchard here for our own family!
Texas Made
